Bella O. is a Nigerian creative who explores multiple art forms to express her views on life. As a poet, photographer, and cinematographer, her work centers on dismantling misogynistic tropes about women with a specific focus on body positivity. Other recurring themes in her art are sex work, heartbreak, Afrocentrism, the unimportance of existence and LGBTQ+ advocacy. She is currently studying theatre arts as an undergraduate of the university of Benin, and when she’s not writing, she can be found on twitter smashing the patriarchy.
